Are My Semen Analysis Results Normal Enough To Become A Father?

Hi My Semen Analysis report - Quantity - 2.5 ml, Color - Grey white, Reaction - Alkaline, Liquefaction time - 40 minutes, Total Sperm Count- 45 mill/Cumm, PUS Cells - 4-6/ HPF, Epithelial cells - 1-2/ HPF, RBC - 1-2/HPF, Active Motile - 70%, Sluggish Motile - 10%, Non Motile - 20%, Normal Forms - 75% and abnormal Forms - 25%, Is these enough for become a father?

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

Your semen analysis report suggests infection.
Infection is indicated by the presence of pus cells,RBC in semen. Normally there shouldn't be any pus cells in semen.
Infection may be due to prostatitis,UTI etc.
You need antibiotics for infection.
You need few more investigation like routine hemogram,Semen culture and sensitivity,RBS,Ultrasound of pelvis should be done.Trans rectal sonography of prostate can be done if needed.
Proper antibiotics should be prescribed after culture and sensitivity report.

Other findings like motility,morphology and sperm count are normal.
