Are Palpitations And Elevated BP Symptoms Of A Panic Attack?

my daughter is 21 and having what we think are panic attacks. Her heart rate is running about 140. Blood pressure also high. She has been to emergency room twice recently. She has been prescribed anxiety med and metoprolol to lower heart rate but not working well tonight. How much metoprolol is too much for her. She has taken two 25 mg in past 6 hours.

.Dear it's ok nothing to worry metaprolol may be taken for palpitations and hypertension. 50 mg per day is acceptable dose.

She need cognitive behavioral therapy, graded exposure therapy. Please consult your neurophychiatrist he will examine and treat her accordingly.
