I started having adult onset seizures afew years ago.In each case I was told my potassium levels were too low,yet this has never been brought up by my neurologist.If this isn't an issue with seizures why do they check.If it is an issue,what can I do to help
Hi, seizures are common in hyponatremia, hypomagnesemia , hypoglycemia but not common in hypokalemia . seizures when occur they can cause potassium changes . Thats why potassium level is checked. Thanks
