Are Profuse Sweating And Fatigue While On Thyroid Medication A Cause For Concern?
FOR THE PAST 8 MONTHS MAYBE EVEN LONGER I SWEAT EVEN IF IT S 60 DEGREES. I GET SO TIRED I FEEL LIKE I HAVE RAN A MARATHON. FOR THE PAST 25 YEARS I HAVE BEEN ON THYROID MEDS. BUT IT IS CHECKED REGULARLY THIS IS SOMETHING THING ELSE. BEFORE I GO TO THE DOCTOR I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW SOME THINGS THAT I CAN DO, THIS IS JUST OUT OF CONTROL, AND I COULD SLEEP MY LIFE AWAY AND I DON T WANT TO DO THAT. THANK YOU
The profuse sweating with fatigue in a person with hypothyroid disorder indicates issues with endocrine function most likely. The most common condition of current low level of thyroid function is very vital to be evaluated, which gives immediate clues for the differential diagnosis to think about: @ Auto immune disorder @ Low hemoglobin and vitamin deficiency @ Renal creatinine and blood urea nitrogen
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
