Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I have had these bumps on the very back of my throat for a little while now, almost a week. One has little red dots on it but the rest are a sorta flesh colored. They go down my throat and they vary in size. I did have a slight fever at the beging of the week and some aches and chills. I went to the dr. And tested negative for mono and strep, she gave me meds for strep anyway. I was raped 3 years ago and got tested for STDs 2 months later and it was negative. I have not had any other signs of sickness, just the bumps. There is some flemmy stuff back there, and sometimes I do get dry throat. Thank you, Hannah
Yes, you should get tested for syphilis. But don’t worry, even if the test is positive you can be treated successfully. Settle an appointment with your primary health care provider.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
