Are Small Brown Spots And Blood A Couple Of Days After Period Worrisome?
Hi my period is usually pretty regular and only last 5 days. This time it came a day early, started out very like like a brow spotting, continued on to the 2nd day the same way. On the 3rd day I woke up with a soaked tampon and blood clots, all blood flow gone from 12pm till 4pm on the 4th day. Where I then had a light brown color again. Very small brown spot on the 5th day. And now nothing until 4pm but a brown spot and a small blood clot on the 6th day. What is going on
Hi. I've gone through your query and I can understand your anxiety.
Slight blood flow with unusual clots may be due to hormonal changes, stress, anemia, thyroid diseases & Fibroids etc
I advice you to, - Do CBC to assess the hemoglobin levels - TFT - Do YOGA & relax to keep yourself stress free. - Take nutritious diet rich in iron & micronutrients. - watch for the next cycle & if same complaint persists then consult your gynaecologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Get well soon.
Regards, Dr. Yogapriya V, General and family physician.
