Are Supraclavicular Lymph Nodes Measuring 4-5 Mm A Cause For Concern?
Hi ! I m 68 years old. My left supraclavicular lymph node is approximately 4-5 millimeters wide, and is near the surface. My right supraclavicular node is deeper below the surface, and can barely be felt. The 4-5 millimeter left node is described between rubbery and soft , and is very movable. Is this cause for concern? Thanks very much!

Hi I am assuming you have done your research on the "left supraclavicular lymph node" :) Left supraclavicular lymph nodes usually does raise suspicion. Do you have any other symptoms weight loss, loss of appetite, discomfort in the stomach, altered bowel habits, indigestion? Any family history of cancer? If the answer is no then you could wait and watch as most of us tend to have enlarged lymph nodes due to minor infections too. Have you recently had a master health check up? That would help spot an issue easily and put you out of worry :) I hope this helped. Take care :)
