Are The Hazy And Streaky Densities Seen In The Upper Lungs Dangerous?
MY X-RAY RESULT IS HAZY AND STREAKY DENSITIES ARE SEEN IN BOTH UPPER LUNG FIELDS WITH THICK WALLED LUCENCIES NOTED INTERSPERSED IN THE RIGHT. THE REST OF THE LUNG FIELDS ARE CLEAR. THE RIGHT COSTOPHRENIC SULCUS IS BLUNTED. THE HEART IS NOT ENLARGED. THE REST OF THE INCLUDED STRUCTURES APPEAR UNREMARKABLE.
Hello Thanks for your query. You may have past history of tuberculosis as per you chest x-ray report. Right now if you don't have any symptoms then you must not be worried. Sputum examination is to be done. Look for the symptoms like fever, cough, expectoration, haemoptysis. If the symptoms occur then you should consult a pulmonologist. Complications which may arise from such lesions are haemoptysis, frequent chest infections and tuberculosis. Be aware of these. Thank you Dr Arnab Maji
