Hi Doctor, I had contracted Typhoid 3 weeks back , the blood reports then indicated, S.Typhi-O =1:160, S.Typhi-H=1:160 , I had immediately started antibiotic treatment through I V upon my doctors advice then , since then the fever had subsided after 1st week, and we again had a test , the results now being S.Typhi-O =1:160, S.Typhi-H=1:80, after this the doctor had asked me to continue with mahacef tablets , since then I had started feeling a lot better and fitter. However what is confusing though is that I again had a test today after the 3rd week just to make sure it has subsided, but to my shock the test now indicated the values to be S.Typhi-O =1:160, S.Typhi-H=1:160 , which were the values when I tested the first time. How is this possible?? Does this mean I have not recuperated at all??
