Are There Any Alternate Tests For Mammogram To Find Changes In Breasts?
I had a mammogram today. I mentioned some tenderness in my right breast. The radiologist took extra pictures of my right breast including a picture to see behind the nipple and another that seemed to be of both breasts where they meet at the sternum. I ve had many mammograms over the years, but never any that required more than two pictures of either breast. I m worried that there is something to be concerned about. Should I be?

Yes, you can do breast MRI for better evaluation of the breast problems. However, it is in combination with mammography absolutely.
