Are There Side Effects Of Meloxicam And Steroid Taken For Sinus Allergy And Arthritis?
I went to a Dr. today for arthritis, I m 52 and have a lot of muscle/joint pain, it holds me back so much as I m a worker and love to go and go. I first got relief when a Dr. treated me for inflamed sinus allergy with a shot of steroid, I then noticed how good I felt. Able to run and do all sorts of things with ease of pain. So today Dr. ordered blood work and imaging, and prescribed me Meloxicam 15mg. I noticed the side effects listed ? I have another appointment in 30 days for the Dr. to start a managing treatment ? Can you give some of your thoughts ?

hi, steroids can drastically improve joint symptoms, but they can not be used for long time as they have many side effects. first, wait for blood workup for a diagnosis. once a proper diagnosis is made, you will be prescribed appropriate medicines. till then, continue to have the given drug. all the best.
