Are Tingling And Numbness In Implant Arm A Cause For Concern?
I have had an Implanon since november 2010...lately my right arm and hand (the arm the implant is in) have been experiencing a lot of numbness and tingling sensations. other than that i haven t experienced any side effects. i was wondering if this should be a cause for concern.

Hello,
As this might be due to muscle weakness or the implant leading to the nerve entrapment. Having an x-ray should be good to check out bone healing.
If the bone is healed then it is advised to remove the implant as due to which you are having this nerve pathology. Have a word with the surgeon who has operated.
