Hi Doc,I recently got tested and my results are as follows.Please let me know wether these are alarming levels,I am 36 years old Indian male and drink 4 times a week.Fasting blood sugar -98 Cholestrol -260 triglycerides -274 LDL-168 HDL-35 Creatinine -1.40 SGOT- 47 SPGT - 88 Bilirubin -1.48 Thank you for your help
Hello,I have gone through your question.Thanks for using HCM.Actually all your lipid levels are high.you should start Tab.Atorvastatin5 mg at bed time with target to reduce cholesterol less than 100,triglycerides less than 200 and LDL below 100.you must avoid fatty food.You MUST STOP DRIKING. and you must walk daily for 30 to 40 minutes. repeat lipid levels after 4 weeks along with SGPT and subsequently maintain dose as per discussion with your treating doctor.
