Are Using Zinnet And Piriton Safe During Pregnancy?

Hi, I am 7 weeks pregnant and have a really horrible cough. My doctor has given me Zinnat (500mg twice a day) and piriton (4mg, once at night) tablets to use. Are they safe for use during pregnancy? I had a miscarriage in February and we want to be extra careful. Thanks Y

Both these drugs are prescribed during pregnancy.. They belong to category B FDA which means no proven adverse effects in animal studies but no proven studies in humans.. Miscarriages have not been reported with the use of these drugs..
