Artificial Sweeteners, Gatorade And Fruit Flavored Drinks Trigger Headaches. Can Piercing Left Tragus Prevent It?
I have migraines all the time. But im starting to figure out what triggers them. Mostly stuff I drink, like any type of juice, gatorade, lemonade.. and artificial sweeteners. Anything that is fruit flavored. I can drink a coke and be fine unless its a cherry coke. Im starting to pay attention to more and more things that cause it. Jello and now cheeses are beginning to do it. Not real cheese but like the cheese crackers. The cheese spread and spray cheese. Never eat it but I tried it to test the migraine theory. I recently heard that piercing your left tragus could help controls migraines. Is this proven? Would it be worth a shot?

Yes, the factors that you mentioned indeed trigger migraines, and you are suffering from frequent migraines.
Piercing of left tragus would not control migraine, so, i would not advise you to go for it.
Instead, you can be started on anti-migraine medications such as flunarizine, beta blockers, topiramate or botox injections.
