As part of my Xanax detox, my psychiatrist prescribed me Gabapentin. I am supposed to take one 100mg pill at bedtime every day. I do not like how this medication makes me feel. After 3 days of doing this I feel very depressed, which is rare for me. I am thinking of not taking it anymore but I am scared that my body may have already become dependent on it. I've heard that going off of it may cause seizures. Am I safe in not taking it after only 3 days on a low dosage?
