Pediatrician, Cardiology 's  Response
Hello
As for last 4 days her oral intake is not good, presently she needs hospital admission. If she is not taking medicine orally then intravenous drugs should be given to her. In severe cases of gastroesophageal reflux not controlled by medication surgical correction is required.
So I would suggest you to consult your doctor and explain the severity of the symptoms so that she could be managed in a proper way.
Regards

Pediatrician Dr. Kaushik K Murthy's  Response
good evening, for reflux symptoms , supportive care will be including more of solid food , reducing the liquid diet. not offering any thing liquid 2 hrs before sleep. she should sleep ay an inclination of 45 degrees, the inclination starting from the lower back. give her tab pantodac 20 mg daily twice before food , and once a day of tab domstal 10 mg 2 hrs before sleep. get a complete blood counts done to check her haemoglobin status. autistic kids or any other special children may have the habbit of swallowing foreign body may be small bits of plastic ir even there own hair , which swalloed on a long term may cause obstruction, so kindly consult a gatroenetrologist and get and endoscopy or ultrasound, by this we can know the grade of reflux and a specific treatment can be started. thank you.
