Hello
Welcome to Hcm
Excessive cough can cause chest pain in children.antitussive cough syrups may just suppress the cough and expectorants may provide some relief but the most important is to know its cause and severity which could be viral bronchitis to bacterial pneumonia.so its best to consult your doctor who can examine n start treatment .Till then you can giv her steam inhalations and warm salt water gargles for relief.
Thanks
