Baby Suffering From Fever, Loose Motions. No Help With Medicines. Advice?
Hi my 8 month boy is suffering from fever for last two day and this morning is his 3rd day. His is in fever continuesly wih temp always 101 / 102 F. His stomach is also upset a bit, he did 3 times loose motions day before n 3 timea yesterday as well. We are out of station on vacation n hence there is change of whether n water. Local doctor has prescribed CEFPODOXIME PROXETIL 50 Dry Syrup 5ml twice for 3 day and ACETAMINOPHEN SUSPENSION for fever. He has already taken doses for last days. Simce he is continuing with fever, what is to be done. Please advise asap.

put salinase nasal drops in nostrils
generally antibiotics are not recommended for loose motions
you should give him extra fluid and ORS ,
monitor his hydration status
if there is any blood or fever or child starts vomit every thing then immediately visit you doctor
change his diaper after every loose stool
how much urine he is passing
