Baby Vaccinated. Painless Bump On Vaccinated Point. Advised To Open & Drain Off. Treatment?

At 10 weeks, painless vaccine was given to my baby on 3,Dec'2012. But still, a bump or painless swelling on that vaccination point (left thigh). No pain. swelling is not growing.
We consulted with another Dr. That Dr is telling to open the swelling and drain off.

How to treat swelling on my baby's left thigh? Now it is showing while baby become thinner.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for your query.
At vaccination site there is fibrous tissue and it takes time to resolve.
Since baby is having swelling which is not painful it is not abscess and i do not suggest draining.
But physical examination is necessary for proper diagnosis.
I suggest you to get second opinion from another doctor.

Wishing your baby good health.
God bless..
