Baby Vomiting Frequently. Was Given Onden, Bacigyl Syrup. What Is The Reason?
my baby is 15 months old, 9kg wt. she has repeated episodes of vomiting 2 times in week or may be 3 to 4. doctor has gave her onden syp, and bacigyl m syp. My question is can i give her onden syp on an every episode? should i give her bacigyl m syp? why she has repeated episodes of vomiting? and every episode she avoid taking food other then milk.
Hi dear,
Thanks for your query to health care magic. Its probably reflux which can happen in chldren. Keep a watch on her weight. As long as she gains weight you need not worry about vomiting two or three times a week. GIve onden only if vomiting occurs more than one episode at a time. No need to give bacigyl all the time. It is an antibiotic and its given only for infection. Your child's problem is not infection. Its just sime content is coming out. DOn't worry she will overcome it.
Take care

Those repeated episodes of vomiting could be because of gastroenteritis. (which is the most common cause)
There are several other causes of vomiting in children and only a physical examination can identify the exact cause of those vomiting.
Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
