Hello, I have very bad back pain which goes down both legs to my toes. I also have pain in my shoulders and most other joints. The problem is finding the right pain killer. I have just had my prescription renewed minus dihydrocodine tablets leaving me to take 1 paracetamol 500mg to be taken 3 times a day. I now need a strong pain killer which does not cause constipation. any advise would be welcome. by the way I an 74 years old with crumpling base of spine which could not be operated on. thanking you Arthurp

Hi,
I would suggest trying ibuprofen. This can be taken as well as paracetamol. Always follow the instructions with the tablets.
Regards,
