Back Of Year Hurt. Pain In Head And Heavy For Neck To Hold Up. Jiggly Inside. Suggestion
I fell down some stairs today and hit the back of my head hard. Didn't go unconscious or anything but have felt naseous all day. My neck is hurting really badly now and lt just makes my head feel like it's to heavy for my neck to hold up. And then also my head itself kinda feels loopy. Not really dizzy but more like jiggly inside any suggestions?
Hi ! Good evening. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.
Even though your history does not sound to be of very serious nature, the symptoms could be due to a concussion of the brain, which may clear by time.
However, if the symptoms increase, and there is any change in the level of your consciousness like more of drowsiness, and vomiting, you have to report to the ER of the nearest hospital in your region to rule out any intracranial effect of the head injury like a hematoma which could be dealt with appropriately soon.
I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts. Thanks for choosing health care magic for clearing doubts on your health problems. Wishing you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
