Back Problems After Fall, Neck Pain. Serious Damage?
I was walking through the yard this weekend while my boyfriend was playing fetch with the dog; he threw the toy and the dog took off running (she s around 60 pounds). The dog did not notice me walking and took my legs out from under me from the back; my boyfriend said it looked like i went parallel before landing flat on my back on the ground. It hurt moderatly when I fell, I am 24 with minor back problems as it is, but it has been two days since the fall and the pain in my muscles in my mid to upper back and neck is just getting worse. I do not feel as if any bones are broken, just wondering if I could have caused any serious damage during the fall.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement, Dr. Saurabh Gupta's Response
I suggest you to consult an orthopaedician nearby for a detailed clinical and neurological examination. You may get the X-ray of the area affected under his/her guidance .
In the interim, apply ice packs to the affected area,anti-inflammatory drug like motrin to reduce pain and inflammation. Avoid forward bending and rest well.
Wishing you good health
Regards.
