Bad Cough Followed By Blood In Cough, Wheezing, Extremely Painful. Off Meth For 4 Weeks. Something Serious?
26 days sober from meth, recently got pretty sick after treatment with a bad cough. Slowly gotten worse, now I ve been coughing up blood and wheezing more and more gradually every day. Drug of choice was meth as stated and method of use was a needle. Suggestions? Or comments? Something serious? It s painful, extremely painful and getting worse by the day

Meth taken by an IV injection can lead to infections getting in from the skin or from the bad handling.
Get an Xray chest done as chances of septic emboli as well as tuberculosis go high on cards.
Blood in sputum can be due to may causes like tuberculosis, Viral infections and pneumonias. Get a sputum culture also to know what exactly is the infection and then see a chest physician. Till then you can start tablet azithromycin 500 mg for 5 days
