hi
welcome to hcm
It could be an infective diarrhoea or a food poisoning, considering the supportive occupational history and the acute episode.
Is it only single episode or more?
Just continue to give him enough fluid along with added electrolytes.
If he is not able to retain fluids and vomiting is still continuing, he may need intravenous fluid replacement.

All the best. Stay in touch if need further help.
