Bed Ridden, High Sugar Levels, Urine Infection Under Control With Medicines, Talks On Irrelevant Issues. Suggestive Remedy?
Hi Doctor, My father is 85 yrs old. he is bed ridden and developed high sugar leve suddenly last 15 days and also urine infection. Due to which he got high fever which was brought in control by use of antipyrectics. Sugar level was also controlled from 460 to 100 by insulin . But he does not sleep at night nor in a day and now a days keeps on talking irrelevant and smtimes keeps on calling everyone of us without any reason.

This may be due to hypoglycemia. Constantly monitor the blood sugar.
Diabetic are also at a higher risk of Cerebrovascular accidents.
MRI of the brain may be helpful to arrive at a diagnosis.
Consult a neurologist and get him evaluated.
