Beta HCG Count Was 88636 Could It Be Due To I Pill.And What Are Its Side Effects During Pregnancy?

Hi doctor, I have query regarding I pill , n pregnancy. Actually I got married on feb 8th, on 22nd February I got my periods.after that me n my husband had protected sex, and twice we had unprotected sex, but I took I pill for the same reason, yesterday when I went to doctor she said that I am 1n a half months pregnant,my blood test was done according to which my beta hcg count was 88636. I wish to know if the I pill that I took had showed any alteration in the beta hcg count n will my baby have Ny problem in future?

This is a case of failed contraception. Ipill is to be taken within 72 hours of the last intercourse else it turns out to be ineffective. Beta hcg of 88000 is indicative of ongoing pregnancy and viable. Ipill is not known to have any teratogenic effect on the fetus. Rest assured.regards
