Bilateral hernia repair with mesh x 1 wk ago. Pt is 81 y.o. male, A.fib, hx of etoh use for many years. Current issue: pt has bilateral ankle/pedal edema. Pt mobilizing, appears overall much improved (as per daughter, primary caregiver). Pt eating well. Incisions approximating well, post-op abdominal pain significantly reduced.

Cause of edema?
