Hi..
Thanks for choosing HCM.
Is the
double vision only binocular or monocular also( if so, which eye?)?
Are your both eye balls moving normally in all directions or is there any restriction of movement?
Are you a diabetic?
If answer to any of the above questions is yes, you need to undergo a thorough ophthalmic examination.
If no, you could be having a shadowing of object which is a symptom of
astigmatism, which can be corrected by cylindrical lenses.
Working with computers for a long time causes
fatigue of ocular muscles but not double vision unless there is a change in the
refractive error. It can cause some dryness also. Try to take some breaks in between ( 5-10 min once in hour) so as to avoid fatigue.
Glaucoma will not cause double vision per se. But because you have a family history, better to go for glaucoma evaluation also.
Take care..I will be available for further queries.
