Bite Mark Turning Brownish And Scaly. Severe Itching. What Is It?

I have some type of an insect bite from over a month ago. You can still see the bite...it has turned brownish, but surrounding the bite, I have a circular area a little over an inch that is scaly and itches a lot. It is still a pinkish color where it is scaly . I live in northern middle Tennessee. Any ideas of what could have bitten me. It is terribly itchy still over a month later..

Probably you have developed an eczematous response to insect bite.

Sorry I have no idea what could have bitten you,

But the treatment remains same.

You need treatment with topical steroids and anti histamine.
