Bleached Face, Red Mark Left. Is It Post Inflammatory Hyper Pigmentation? How To Remove Mark?

I got bleach on my face about 3 months ago. the mark left a scab which fell off after about a week and left a red mark in its place. it's faded a bit since then but is still visible apart from my surrounding skin. the curious thing is that it turns darker red if I brush my teeth or bend over, which diminishes after about a minute. it's not raised and is the same as surrounding skin but a different color. Is this Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation or a scar? What do I do I don't want a red mark on my face forever!

Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
It seems to be post in flattery hyperpigmentation only. Just use a plain steroid cream like hydrocortisone two times in a day for two weeks, if it does not lighten please consult a dermatologist to assess the lesion and advise treatment accordingly. Scars are usually raised or depressed as its flat so probably its not a scar.
Take care
