Hey,i had an abortion by suction method ten days ago had bleeding fr five days but last week i went for checkup and doc said there is still some clots seen shr gave me cytopan 50 for five days..i want to know why she gave me this?

Hello.It is normal after an abortion by suction there are remains of blood and other tissues in utero.The prescribed drug (misoprostol) causes contractions of the uterus, favoring the output of remains by the vagina.
