Bleeding After Passing Stools, Bright Red Blood, Goes Away On Wiping. Cure?
Howdy, I sometimes there is blood in the toilet after I poop. It doesn t happen every day or every week, or month. When it happens, the blood is bright red as if I scraped my arm or something similar. The blood appears on the toilet paper as well and goes away after a few wipes. I do not believe there is blood in my stool .
Hello Thanks for your query. You could be having a small anal fissure. That could bleed off and on, and typically presents as a streak of fresh red blood after bowel movements. Also, it could be a small fistula in ano. A small external haemorrhoid ( piles ) also presents in this way. To know the exact diagnosis, please visit a doctor who would examine you . All the best.
Hi, From history it appears that you might be having bleeding internal piles. Consult surgeon and get examined. Avoid constipation. Take plenty of water. Take more fiber in your diet. Ok and take care.
