Bleeding From Anus, Abdominal Cramps And Bloating. Have History Of Colonoscopy And Hysterectomy. What Does It Indicate?
Hello, I just got through walking my 2 miles after doing errands, & just finished terazole last night,7 for a yeast infection, had
Twitching itch, had a hysterectomy 23 yrs ago , I'm 63,, had colonoscopy, had a sigmoid colon done, all ok, but just came to go bathroom , urine only, & wiped vagina fine, but wipe my anus same time & a tinge of blood , now have tummy cramps, have passed gas, also had shingles last February , & diverticulitis 2 yrs ago. I take bp meds, thyroid, hormone spray, baby aspirin , Lipitor & some magnesium, fish oil, bit d thanks for help, I'm nervous.

Bloating and abdominal cramps are most likely caused by diverticulitis. This diseases likes to recur. Bleeding from anus with fresh bright red blood is most likely caused by hemorrhoids.
Both diverticulitis and hemorrhoids are caused by constipation. That is why it is very important to avoid constipation. To do that you should have fiber rich diet.
As diverticulitis can lead to intestine perforation, I suggest you to visit your doctor. Abdominal ultrasound, blood work should be done and antibiotics prescribed. After acute inflammation will be gone, you should consult surgeon and consider affected part of intestine removal.
