Dear friend.

Thanks for sharing your concern.

Bleeding from gums is simply due to gingivitis.

Gingivitis is caused due to poor oral hygiene.plaque and calculus gets deposited on your teeth, resulting in inflammation and further infection of gums.

this causes bleeding.

normal brushing does not help much in case of developed gingivitis.

once in six months, a professional cleaning is advised in your case.

meanwhile do antiseptic mouth rinses .

regular brushing and flossing is also mandatory.

hope it helps.

thanks.

take care.

Hi,

Thanks for asking the query,

Bleeding gums indicates inflammation of gums known as gingivitis, it occurs due to improper oral hygiene, plague and calculus deposition, nutritional deficiencies, systenic disorders like diabetes and leukemia.

It can also occur due to trauma from hard toothbrush or vigorous toothbrushing.
I would suggest you to use a soft bristle tooth brush and brush slowly in circular motions.

Go for symptomatic treatment of complete mouth scaling and polishing.
Take a balanced diet, use plenty of raw vegetables, carrots, salads, fruit juices.
Take multiviatmin tablets, drink plenty of fluids.

Use antiseptic mouthwash gargles twice daily.

Hope this helps out.

Hello and Welcome to HCM,
Thanks for writing to us.
as per your explanation it is clear that you have gum inflammation, called gingivitis...when there are deposits over the tooth surface, gum gets inflamed resulting in gum swelling...as the gums swell, the capillaries in the gums gets pushed to the surface and mild stimulation would result in bleeding....get your gums cleaned and gum astringent would be prescribed that would take care of you bleeding gums....
maintain good oral hygiene.
brush your teeth twice daily using toothbrush.
rinse your mouth after every meals.
chlorhexidine mouthrinses can prevent plaque accumulation
Hope this helps you.
Wishing you good health...
Regards.

Hello,
You are suffering from a problem known as Gingivitis. You should get your teeth scaled and your dentist should check if there is pocket formation and bone loss around your teeth. If so a flap surgery and curretage would be required which would bring the gums back to its normal health. Brush twice daily, floss your teeth once daily, Use a chlorhexidine mouth wash twice daily and massage your gums with finger daily after brushing.

hello,
i can understand your problem, kindly do warm saline rinses atleast 3 to 4 times a day, use a soft tooth brush, massage your gums with your finger to improve gingival health, bleeding happens due to inflammation of gums, use mouth wash to reduce imflammation. if the problem still persists then kindly visit your dentist. i wish you good health.
