Bloating, Diarrhea. Shaking, Cramps After Taking Lactaid. Vomiting. Side Effects?
I'm wondering if a person can be allergic to Lactaid and if a side effect could be vomiting. In the past year have begun feeling bloated and diarrhea after consuming milk products (not severe, yogurt & cheese seem to be okay). Decided to try Lactaid last week with my cereal, as well as this week. Within an hour I was feeling shaky and crampy. Within two hours I was vomiting.

You had bloating and diarrhea after consuming milk products. Being the probablity of Lactose intolerance you have taken Lactaid. But after Lactaid within an hour you developed cramps and a feeling of shakiness and vomiting
Lactaid rarely induce any allergic reactions. If at all serious side effects are rash, itching/swelling of the face, tongue, throat, severe dizziness, trouble in breathing.
As your symptoms are not related to this better consult a Dr, as you have to think about the benefit effect of lactaid (you can take milk products, without bothering about Lactose intolerence)
