Blood Clott Unders Arm Skin After Blood Donation. Would Any Body Explain Me Please?
Hii, I am Swarnil, 20 years old. 3 days ago , I have donated blood in a blood bank for the 1st time, it was a voluntary donation, but now I am worried as I am observing some clotting / black spot in the area of my hand from where blood was taken. Would any body explain me please? I am really worried about it.

You don't need to worry Swamil . A little bleeding in to skin and bruising is commonly seen at the site of the puncture in the skin . The clotting is the accumulation of the blood in that area . There is nothing for you to worry and it would soon resolve on its own in 5 to 15 days .

Some of the blood that escaped from the vein, got in to the arm tissue, and clotted, and turned blue. It happens many times. Will be fine in 4-5 days, you can apply some ice and massage gently.
