Blood And Urine Test Normal. Seamen Analysis Showed No Liquification After 6 Hours. What's Wrong?
i had a seamen anylysis done ,and it mentoined that seamen not liquified after 6 hrs , hence sperm count not possible, i had after one day collected the seamen and noticed that it was liquid in about 30 min (it was a lay mans observation). i had a seamen culture test done and it showed that no patogens were found. blood trsts and urine tests were normal.what is the reason the seamen had not liquified and what should i do
hi there, semen after being discharged in the female genital tract needs to be liquified or the viscosity has to be reduced so tht the spermatozoa can travel up the female tract to fertilize the ova. Liquifacion is caused due to a prostatic enzyme and deficiency of this enzyme or of some micronutrients like Zinc can cause delayed liquifaction. As the first sample you had given must have been after a period of abstenence and unduly viscous it took time for liquifaction while the second sample had no such problem. Do not worry unduly about it as it can be corrected with medications and use of multivit. supplemensts like zinc, magnesium, selenium, lycopene, and B-complex vitamins especially B6 .As there is no other abnormality found it should be easy to rectify increased liquifaction time take care
