Hi,

Living close do to animals, in your case dogs, carries the possibility of getting infections from parasitic to other serious and life-threatening.

It all depends on the hygiene and vaccination of your puppy. So, if he done the vaccination accurately, and you are handling him clean; then, I do not think you should be worried.

However, if you see that the scratched finger is undergoing some changes that you do not like; I would suggest to go and see a dermatologist to evaluate the situation.

Meanwhile, I would suggest to keep the scratched area cleaned: clean it with warm water and soap; then, swipe with alcohol, and oxygenated water.

Hope it helped!
