Blood Clot In Urine, Difficulty In Urinating. Normal MRI, Chest X Ray. Had Accident
My husband had a very serious motor vehicle accident 3 days ago, today he passed a 'blood clot' in his urine, yesterday he had a hard time urinating. He was taken to the hospital Friday, (wreck happened on Wednesday) MRI and chest x-ray turned out fine, but other than being sore, and whiplash, he really had no other issues... He basically fell asleep behind the wheel, and 'side swiped' a tree going about 55-60 MPH. Thank you!
So he may be suffering from Urinary tract infection. I would advise my patients to undergo urine tests to rule out infection and treat wilt antibiotics.
