Blood In Urine, Smoker, Good Physical Condition. History Of Heart Attack. Causes?

I work with a 70 year old man who told me today he had a good deal of blood in his urine in the morning. Later in the day he had it happen again. He is in good physical condition.(Does physical work). Had a heart attack 14 years ago. A NON drinker but does smoke .(Cigars not cigarettes). What could be the cause of this??

Blood in urine is definitely a symptom which should be looked and investigated into seriously. There could be several reasons for the above condition including inflammation of ureter, calculus or stone in urethra or kidney, or kidney disease.

Therefore it is always better to investigate thoroughly. Ask your friend to visit his physician and get treatment. Self diagnosis and treatment is dangerous.
