Blood On Hand During Masturbation. Possibility Of Vaginal Injury, Hymen Breakage?

Hi dr. Few months ago I used to musterbate and I was inserting my finger in my viginia. But last time I did so I had nails and was fingring and suddenly foud blood on my hand and under me few havey spots I got surprised I thought I might have injured my viginia the inside wall but now its making me very confused maybe I cut my hymen? But I didn t feel any pain and it really worries me couse in my culture I have to save my hymen untile my wedding night?. I also should mention to you that it wasn t my period and after I saw the blood I wash my self and I didn t see any more bleeding after washing myself. Can u help me out doc. And tell me whether it was I cut my hymen or just cut the inside wall?

I have read your query & I understand your concerns.

It is difficult to say about damage to hymen without examinig you. The 2 reasons for bleeding could be as follows:

1) Hymenal tear as you suspect.

2) Damage to vaginal lining (called mucosa) which is thin and sensitive. This damage leads to tearing up of mucosa in some places with your nails and lead to injury.

The hymen damage can be tested by a gynecologist only after examination.

Without examination it is difficult to say weather hymen is ruptured or cut in vaginal wall.
Hymen can be ruptured by fingering or even during medical examination or cycling or having long jump.
As per your culture you have to keep your hymen intact but accidents can happen in life.
Don't tell anything about this bleeding as you are not sure of hymen rupture will serve your purpose because a person never examine you having intact hymen is there or not but feels its presence during intercourse.The feeling can be save you .So don't done any mistakes by telling anybody.
