Blood Pooling In Foot, Painful. Losing Sensation In Foot. Injured Shin. Normal X Ray. Should I Meet A Doctor Immediately?

I injured my shin last Saturday. When I came home from work on Tuesday, I noticed that there was a lot of blood pooling in my foot/ankle. I went to the doctor for an x-ray on Wednesday which showed no fractures. However, as of today, the pooling has gotten worse, the pain has increased, I am losing movement in my ankle/foot, and I am losing sensation in my foot. Is this something that would require an ER visit or should I wait? I don't have insurance, so medical care is not easy for me to receive.

Hi, it appears that you had an injury to the blood vessels under the skin and caused the bleeding under the skin, you wont get any thing in xray, i advise you to consult the er again, if you are not afford to visit a doctor .
You need to have an elastic bandage, antibiotic etc.
I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe elastic bandage to prevent further swelling, antibiotic, protiolytic, antiinflamatory, drugs for quick recovery. Thank you.
