Blood Sugar Fluctuated, Very High Since Stopped Lantus. Will It Be A Problem To Switch Back To Lantus From HUMILIN N?

I have used Lantus for 3 years prior to having a heart attack 3 weeks ago. The hospitalist took me off Lantus and put me on Humilin N. My blood sugar has fluctuated and been very high since I stopped the Lantus. Will it be aproblem to switch back to Lantus and not use the HUMILIN N?

Dear friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

There are certain differences between the two
Tailoring the dose is all that may be required / Going back or changing to a different preparation may not make much difference…
Discuss with your diabetologist

Good luck
Take care
Wishing all well
God bless
