HELLO SIR, I AM 27 YEARS MARRIED WOMAN. RECENTLY I DID BLOOD TEST FOR THYROID IN WHICH THE REPORT SAYS AS SUCH.. TOTAL TRIIODOTHYRONINE (T3) C.L.I.A IS 83 ng/dl TOTAL THYROXINE (T4) C.L.I.A IS 10.3 μg/dL THYROID STIMULATING HORMONE (TSH) C.L.I.A IS 0.30 μIU/ml I AM HAVING TYROXINE SODIUM IP TABLETS OF 25 MCG REGULARLY. BLOOD TEST REPORT SUGGESTS FOR THYRONORMALCY. IS THIS VALUE DETECTED NORMAL FOR GETTING PREGNANT/CONCEIVING.
Dear Shamistha, regards! as per your statement you are hypothyroid on replacement dose of 25mcg. your reports are within normal limits and definitely you can plan your pregnancy with this thyroid status. you must remember two things that while you are pregnant, monitor TSH and FT4 and see you doctor regularly. regards and all the best.
T3 is a little low T4 is normal TSH is a little low.
I think that you can go ahead with pregnancy. All you have to do is to regularly monitor your thyroid hormones during pregnancy.
