Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M.Forum.
Serum
bilirubin 2.7 (high, normal level is less than 1 mg/dl)
Direct 0.6 (normal in your case because less than 0.7 mg/dl)
Indirect 2.1 mg/dl( very high in you, normal 0.2 to 0.7 mg/dl)
S G O T 131.4 ( high as normal 5-45)
S G P T 64.3 ( high as normal 5-45)
R B C ( ERYTHROCYTES) 9-12 million/cmm ( very high in your case because normal value is 4.5 to 5.5 million /cmm)
Heamoglobin 5.3 g/dl ( normal 13-16 g/dl very low in you)
Every thing is clear that you have
ANEMIA ( simply less amount of blood)
Types of anemia are many ,so you have to
consult a hematologist and get in complete blood examination.
Erythrocytosis means increase in R B C count as above mentioned.
Here I would like to say one thing in your case as SERUM BILIRUBIN level is high so you have
jaundice ( may be physiological, which is NOT dangerous at all).
Breakdown of R B Cs causes increase in bilirubin level so you have to check up this thing also.
Get in complete
Ultrasound ,blood, urine, stool examination to rule out disease in liver , (
hepatitis A , B , C H)
Good luck , if any further query I will be happy to help.
Dr. HET
