I had some blood tests done. 4 things were low, 2 were high. Sodium value of 131, standard 135-145. Hemoglobin value of 12.8, standard 13.5-17.5. Hematocrit value 36.9, standard 37.0-53.0. Neutrophils value 73.0, standard 42.0-72.0. Lymphocytes value 10.4, standard 20.0-44.0. Absolute Monocytes vallue 1.1, standard <0.9. What could it mean? Thanks.
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. The low level of hemoglobin and hematocrit are non specific as they are near normal. Neutrophils are also near normal (73). The worrisome point is the level of lymphocytes that is 10 ( normal 20-40). This condition is known as lymphocytopenia . May be idiopathic reason . Blood dyscrasia. We require complete history of illness as drugs taken before test or any sexual contact history or other illness. Upload all reports. Consult your treating doctor and get his opinion. Good luck. Hi!thanks for the query. All your values are almost normal and about the 10 per cent lymphocyte count I find it doubtful and incomplete report because if you check the differential leucocyte count the sum of all 5 types of blood cells should be 100 .if neutrophil 73 and lymphocyte 10 then what are other 17 per cent cells.Kindly get the test repeated and then let me know.Dont worry till then.Take care!
