Bone Struck In Mouth. Developed Sharp Pain In Lower Stomach, Diagnosed With Diverticulitis, No Relief. Cause For Pain?
I had a very sharp chicken bone stuck in my throat and had to go to ER. The doctor was able eventually to get me to swallow it. About three weeks later, I started developing sharp pain in my lower left stomach . I was initially diagnosed with diverticulitus and have been on flagyl and cipro for a week, with no relief. Could this be related to the bone, maybe stuck in the colon?. The pain is very sharp feeling

if the chicken bone has passed through your throat then it will not get stuck any where else.. because throat it the narrowest part of the git..also when chicken bone will go into stomach it will surly get digested, stomach contains acid will strong enough to digest even small iron nails.
now you need to get some investigation done. with the history you have given it is tough to tell your diagnosis. but it may even be a stone in the ureter. what i would suggest is visit a hospital with all the investigations you have done from the time bone got stuck in you throat. then they will do step by step investigation to find out what is causing the pain
