Born With Gastroschisis. Nausea, Vomiting And Diarrhea With Lower Abdominal Pain. HAve Fever. Is There A Cure?
I was born in 87 with gastroschisis and I was at my pcp yesterday and I spent 3 days in the hospital last week due to neasuea vomiting and direrrha and still have lower left abdominal pain an some pack pain and still running a low grade fever about 100.5 and still can't eat right is his compilations from when I was born and r something else and am I going to have to deal with this for the rest I my life
first of all a gastroschisis once operated has ver good prognosis and if there were any complications because of this you would have had it in your early teens itself. hence your complaints point towards a general bout of food poisoning.the symptom complex of food poisoning lasts for about a week to ten days
hence,i would suggest you to start- 1.paracetamol for the fever 2.specific antibiotics such as ofloxacin and ornidazole 3.anti spasmodic
but along with this you should also 1.keep yourself hydrated. 2.take ORS 3.dont eat anything from outside till a week or till the symptoms subside
if you are still having abdominal pain.it would be better to get these investigations done 1.ultrasound of abdomen 2.complete blood examination
thank you, wishing you good health
